DESCRIPTION

Bright and delicately balanced, this Kölsch pours pale gold with a soft, bready malt backbone from American Pilsner and a touch of Vienna malt. Hints of honey-like sweetness from Crystal 10L complement the smooth graininess of wheat, while Hallertauer Mittelfrüh hops lend a gentle floral aroma and a crisp, herbaceous finish. With moderate bitterness around 29 IBUs and a clean fermentation profile, the beer drinks light, refreshing, and exceptionally smooth—perfect for warm weather sipping.

Compared to commercial Kölsches like Reissdorf or Gaffel, this version offers similar softness and drinkability, with a slightly fuller malt character and a subtly richer aroma. It maintains the classic style’s trademark clarity and refreshment while adding a touch more depth.

    This amazing, well balanced beer was great, with lots of good flavors for a lighter beer that was very easy drinking and smashable. I was very pleased with how it turned out and proud to serve it to my people as my own.
